Jason was a court appointed lawyer for my partner and of course we all know how court appointed lawyers go- don’t care too much bc they are not getting paid by the client. He kept pressuring my partner to sign a deal basically saying it’s not going to get any better than this never spoke up for my partner or even attempted to fight for him in his case. My partners bond never got 10% or anything. He then comes with a plea deal that if my partner signs he can be released from custody until sentencing during the time corona was most prevalent back in April 2020. So of course with family issues going on at home he felt there was no other options for him and he signed. Once he came home his mother got sick with corona she is very high risk with a lot of health conditions. She was in the hospital on incubator for over a month. He was very busy dealing with that & by the end of May/early June tragically he lost his 7 year old son. So once again he was very busy & not really able to think straight about anything. In June he laid his son to rest & by the end of June which is when his sentencing was scheduled via Zoom he then tested positive for corona. He is high risk as well with previous health conditions & was in the hospital for almost 3 weeks on a incubator. They rescheduled his sentencing again via Zoom but he never received any link for the Zoom meeting. He was then picked up on a warrant he didn’t even know he had. My partner has been trying to get ahold of Jason for almost 3 weeks which he will not answer or return any calls. My partner feels Jason’s proceedings were incompetent & had Jason represented him fully there would have been a different outcome. When I called to reach out to Jason to see why he was not returning my partners calls he said he hasn’t received any calls from him. I explained to him how his client felt about the proceedings & that he wanted to seek help for his incompetence. Jason advised to me that he can not help with that and basically has nothing else to do with this case since he has been sentenced. Before we were hanging up the phone he mentioned that my partner “needs to just quit trafficking drugs”. Mind you this was the person representing my partner I was completely disgusted by that comment. He just proved that everything my partner has said about him to be true. Jason is prejudice, bias, unprofessional, inconsiderate, disrespectful and never truly cared about the outcome of this case. I would never recommend anyone to this office. Absolutely DISGUSTING!

Jason is an excellent lawyer. He takes your case as seriously as you do if not more. He's always made time to hear me on the phone or email and explained everything very well when I had questions and in a timely manner. He is and was very nice with me when others were not so nice.
