Great family to work for, you never have to worry about a thing, from pay to dispatch to shop. They all keep in communication with another. One of the best places I worked for. Keeps you running with loads planned ahead of time. Off weekends. What more can you ask for. Come and run with the man in black.

James Downey for DOWNEY TRUCKING INC
Great small company to work for, miles miles and miles of miles to run. No b/S here. Owner works with you and communication is a priority here. Couldn't be happier, come on down and apply at Downey trucking. Open door policy, bonuses for fuel and performance, hard work recognized, weekly pay etc...... it's worth a move. I never look back.

Downey is by far the best little big company I have ever worked for the pay is great the miles are awesome from Mr.Downey, Casey the office manager, Lisa,Niki,Joseph the shop manager and Shelley by far the nicest people in the world. They have an out standing fleet of trucks they take very good care of the home time is slow sometimes but I get to see my family every weekend I've been with this company going on 7 weeks next week I just want to thank the Downey family for making me apart of them and my family thanks you too

Mr. Gaines for DOWNEY TRUCKING INC
If you're looking for a trucking company that cares about its employees while simultaneously caring for its customers Downey Trucking is that company. They are family owned and family oriented. Equipped with a top notch fleet of trucks a great network of office staff and very knowledgeable mechanics that dont mind doing things right the first time. Also helpful drivers that show concern for their coworkers. I have nothing but praises to give when I speak about the Downey Trucking Family. As a 6 year employee I have seen lazy cry babies come and go. But the drivers that give a fair days work for a fair days pay they are normally around for the long haul.Most of my coworkers have been here 5 years and up. In 6 years I've been home every weekend with the exception of one weekend because I volunteered to do some extra work to help out. When the economy was suffering Jim Downey didn't use that as an excuse to hold back on pay. In fact he did a great Christian principal. He went the extra mile. He gave the entire company a raise. So anyone bad mouthing this company might wanna take a long look in the mirror and correct themselves or they won't be at their next place of employment long either!!!

I have been with Downey Trucking Inc. for over 5 years. It is the best. If you are a hard working, honest and dependable person I suggest you give them a try. They have provided well for myself and my family through good and bad times. I truly respect the owners as well as my coworkers we all have a job to do. When one does their part.
