My husband searched for weeks on the Penske site to find a box truck for his business. He finally located one and went through great lengths to track down where the truck was housed so he could see it in person. Upon inspecting the vehicle in person, he informed his Penske customer service rep, whom he had been working with, that he would like to take the next steps in purchasing the vehicle. He paid $500 to hold the truck and have the vehicle removed from their site so that the loan paperwork could be finalized. Penske financed the sale and my husband put down an additional $1000 and all the appropriate paperwork was signed and submitted. We were told that the truck would be ready for us to pick up on April 7th. The morning of April 7th we followed up with our Penske representative only to find out that the truck had been taken to Albany NY!!!!!!! We live in GA and inspected the truck in person on site in GA. So we were very surprised, frustrated and angry that after we paid and finalized the loan paperwork the truck was taken to NY and had not be marked as sold!!! To add insult to injury we were asked if we would be willing to go to NY to retrieve the truck. ABSOLUTLEY NOT. We are now being given the run around, have not received our money back or another truck of equal value. We paid 6 months of commercial auto insurance upfront as well and someone else is driving the truck!!! This is NO WAY to conduct business. I've called and emailed the corporate office three times hoping to get help to resolve this.
