ALDI

Aldi is definitely my all-time favorite grocery store! Clean, organized and everyone is always helpful and friendly. And, the clearance items are amazing!!! No where better. Now is the time to stock up on things you can save for the holidays next year.

Nice prices on items. There is a certain cashier that has been there along time that goes out of her way to make it a great shopping experience. Thanks Nan! Expect some long lines checking out though.

I have always loved my shopping experience at Aldi on Patton Ave in Asheville but today I was very disappointed. The lady who was scanning the groceries was definitely bothered that she had to quit restocking to run the cash register. She threw my groceries into my cart breaking my crackers and bruising my produce. I drive 30 minutes to shop at Aldi and this is something I will not be doing again, in spite of the savings.

Always surprised the affordability for great quality foods. We love their cauliflower pizzas and chocolate!! AND, they have 5 self checkouts now! You can scan several items before getting them into the bag area without the computer flagging it (while most other grocery stores flag after one item, and then you need to call for someone to clear it.)

I had a quite the terrible experience at this ALDI. The incident occurred just before 3 p.m. yesterday. As I was at one of the self-checkout registers, I was approached by a rude woman who had brown hair and was wearing glasses — she’s the employee in this picture I took. Now, before you read any further, keep in mind I have a learning disability. She decided to come up to me with a rhetorical question about the checkout process (because I didn’t understand why I couldn’t pay for my ticket). Here’s what she said: “Oh, so you don’t know why you can’t pay? You have to click on the “Pay Now” button. I think you left your brain at the door when you woke up this morning.” Anyway, I just thought that was so mean and disparaging, and how this woman DOES NOT BELONG IN THE CUSTOMER SERVICE INDUSTRY. It pains me to write these words, and as someone who’s a part of the disabled community, I’d like to ask ALDI to reconsider this woman’s employment with them.

Nice place, great prices, and the staff was friendly. The whole Aldi concept is strange to me... They don't bag your groceries, you have to put in a quarter to get a buggy... But other than that it's a great little store.

This had been my grocery store of choice for years. They offer the same quality of othet grocers with better pricing. I also love their line of products.

Found what I needed and a good price . . .

The price makes up for the wait in line! Employees are always helpful and doing their best.

I adore Aldi. Cheap, high quality goods in an efficient system. No plastic bag waste, the cart return system prevents the carts from being damaged in the parking lot, even the leftover display boxes get utilized. They don't have the same variety as larger grocery stores, don't expect an isle dedicated just to soda, but they make up for it in having a unique selection of items that rotates every week. New foods/flavors, plants, appliances, clothes, furniture; you never know what they'll have. I shop here whenever I can.
