Microtel Inn & Suites by Wyndham Clarksville

This hotel is experiencing a renovation and is truly not ready for occupants. The room that I had was supposed to be for Ada. Now I don't know what kind of inspectors they have at the building department in Tennessee but this was not a d a. When I first entered the room I tried to turn on the light except the switch did not work. In order to adjust the AC you needed a magnifying glass and a flashlight because it's hidden under a settee. The shower handle was extremely difficult to manipulate. The sink in the bathroom was too high and lacked any counter space. The lights between the beds could only be turned on and off by one side. That all said when they get it together it may be okay I pray. The bed was comfortable the Sheets Were crisp oh, the towels were fluffy.

This is one of my favorite hotels. I love coming here.

The hotel did have an odd smell about it. We only stayed one night so weren’t real concerned about that. The room was recently renovated however it was dirty. The towels after taking a shower and being on the floor was filthy. Top of the toilet had what looked like coffee or something splattered all over it. The sink wasn’t wiped down. Left me feeling less than clean on the morning of checkout.

The room was very clean and the bed amazing. It is a soft bed but so comfy. I was very impressed.

I had a wonderful stay here. The front desk was absolutely polite and very helpful. The room was clean and looked to be newly remodeled. I also included a picture of the bathroom and tub. Because when I'm looking for a room I always gotta know what kind of tub they have! 10/10 Definitely would stay again!

Walked in to the lobby and couldn't breathe due to a strong moldy smell. The room wasn't any better. Couldn't breathe, there were stains on the bed and carpet. The room was dated. We did not end up staying. We booked a room at a different place.

Walk in and there is a damp moldy smell in the room. There is a mirror that looks very odd, almost like a two way mirror. Carpets are stained, old, and look dirty. This is definitely not a 2 1/2-3 star hotel.

very nice friendly front desk help but very trashy nasty hotel and the business owner does not even have any way to contact him or business cards or anything at the front desk nor could the front desk manager get me the information this morning. Totally inappropriate. When you pull up at 1:00 a.m. and every hotel's parking lot is full and this one is empty should have been a warning sign. I cannot believe Wyndham has associated their name with such a trashy hotel when them used to have very high standards. The outside appearance is trashy but inside is even worse the carpets all worn the upholstery filthy some of the towels were filthy dirty I don't know if they had not been washed or just stained. Worst of all was no air conditioning! When I walk in they had three fans blowing on the front desk clerk and put me in an upstairs room with no elevator and obviously have the rooms are more downstairs where empty when I got upstairs the entire hallway was at least 120 and my room was the same. I turned on the air conditioner and it was barely blowing any perceivable cool air but I waited patiently for an hour while I took my clothes off dripping in sweat and then after an hour the air conditioner turned off! So I went to the front desk and was moved to another room after 3:00 a.m. and was promised I would have a 1:00 p.m. check out yet at 11:00 a.m. they're banging on my door even though I had a note on the floor outside my door saying I was given a 1:00 p.m. check out and I had to do not disturb sign hanging. Everything is old and nasty and stained and the bed was clean but that's about it. not having air conditioning in a climate where it's 95 or 100 everyday is absurd. Also none of the business lighting the pole sign and street sign do not work so it took me a couple passes to even find the hotel in the dark at 1:00 a.m. The owner obviously does not care about customer service just by the trashy appearance of his business and the fact he does not have any way to contact him I own business is also in my employees are trained and encouraged to give my contact information to any customer who's not happy so we can take care of it. again I cannot believe Wyndham has associated their name that used to be very high standards with such a trashy hotel. And I have stayed at plenty of microtel's over the years and most of them are very decent hotels especially for the price this one was disappointing in every way except the incredibly helpful front desk especially overnight help. I did not take any pictures inside because I had already checked out to leave. Other than the friendly lady last night and today I would not want my dog to even stay here but I do love my dog.

No other option in a unaware busy weekend. Very bad experience. Dirthy towels, nasty carpet and upholstery, charged 79.99 and wanted 50.00 deposit! For what??

While the front desk workers are kind and helpful, Continental breakfast decent for such a small hotel, but the rest of the place was not great. We were driving back from spring break and all other hotels were booked in the area so we tried this one. The entire place had an odd odor in the main rooms and hotel room. Our bathtub was covered in dust, the toilet rocked when you sat on it and refilled/ran for hours, the faucet leaked. Very outdated decor, old microwave and mini fridge, but they worked. Wouldn't stay here again unless the smell was taken care of.
