I had a great time in this school, very talented instructors, enough driving time out the road. God bless all the instructors, I really appreciate you all because I am putting what you guys taught me into real life experience. There is job placement there because a lot of recruiters came in to talk to us and I am happy to say I choose one of the companies McElroy where I am working now as we speak. I will definitely recommend this school to anyone who is interested.

I hope anyone interested in attending the Truck Driving Institute reconsiders that decision! It was the worst experience I have ever had with an educational program. The recruiters at Whiteland location will tell you things like we will support your experience with knowledgeable staff that will prepare you for a career in the trucking industry. Not true. There only concern is to get you’re money. They list an 80% placement after graduation on there website! Again not true. They do not offer refresher courses on even an acceptable amount of drive time for students who have little to no experience with driving a semi truck! Chose a school that is on the up and up I Implore you, or you and you pocketbook will regret it.

just go and do what you are there to do , don’t blame anyone else for the fact that you couldn’t pass day 1 , 2 or 3. You most likely played around , blamed someone else for not teaching you or just simply weren’t focused. It’s easy to feel intimidated by the size of the truck or the fact that wow I’m going to be driving these but first I have to pass a test by the state examiner. Well you have 2 weeks to get it together. Stay focused , you are not there to make friends , find a partner who is as serious as you and you can make this the best decision of your life. It’s not a Ivy League school the trainers are there to help you yes but they also don’t need to baby sit adults. They can tell who is serious and who isn’t. Don’t look at someone else like they are better even if they have experience it’s about your faith and your capabilities. I passed 1st time and yes I studied and I had 3-4 days on the road and my range course was okay not the best but I didn’t let my fear get the best of me I knew I didn’t want to be in there longer then I had to. It’s good school if you go for the right reasons. Practice practice practice, take notes , go out of your comfortable zone , GO up to the trainers don’t wait for them to talk to you. Don’t be afraid of the truck. Most Importantly DONT GIVE UP. You got this

Dan, Justus, Jacob are amazing! I wish they had better trucks for us to practice on, but the instructors made this easy and help along the way to help us get this! TDI Whiteland rocks!

This is a great place to learn and obtain your CDL. The instructors are great and they help alot when asked questions. Only thing that is bad is the range truck conditions. They could be better in terms of mechanical conditions.

This place changed my life for the better. They make due with what they have. You NEED to apply yourself to succeed. However, their recruiter Rick went above and beyond to inform me about their free program affiliation. My entire schooling was free (besides paying for my license/permits/endorsements). I will be forever grateful I had this experience.

I am so glad I chose TDI, they are amazing. Everybody who works there really want to see you succeed. The instructors are patient and work hard to help you learn. Justis took one on one time with me to make sure I had it, and David works hard to get you that position you want when you pass! I highly recommend to anybody who is just starting out in this field. THANK YOU EVERYONE!!
