Bow Hill Rest Area Southbound

Normal rest-stop with an abundance of vegetation surrounding it. Not especially remarkable, but that's probably exactly what you should be looking for in a quick stop.

Really tight truck parking. Great location but not worth the stop on the way up to Bellingham unless it’s at noon.

Addendum To: Please NOTE: THE EIGHT HOUR PARKING HAS BEEN ABOLISHED THERE!! I've just come from BOW Southbound Rest Area TODAY - ( WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 27th, 2021 ) There are a bunch of *BRAND NEW PARKING (NOW 1 & 4 hour parking Limits) SIGNS ON NEARLY *ALL OF THE VEHICLE PARKING SLOT AREAs I DUNNO WHAT HAPPENED HERE BUT I WAS EXHAUSTED AFTER A SIX HOUR DRIVE, ONLY 2 FIND *THIS WAITING 4 ME AT THE END, AND I WAS UNABLE TO REST AFTER THE SUPER LONG DRIVE. I JUST LEFT. 4 HOUR MAX PARKING IS only allowed where the SUN IS ROASTING EVERYTHiNG IN SIGHT & THERE IS NO LONGER is ANY SHADE going to be available there for more than one hour!! SUMMER IS GONNA BE MOST UNPLEASANT & DANGEROUS THERE.. WORD TO THE WISE... BEST TO STAY AWAY & STEER CLEAR OF BOW REST AREA SOUTHBOUND FROM NOW ON!! TOO MANY PARKING SIGNS WITH HOURS LIMITED!! SIGNS EVERYWHERE, PLUS PLENTY OF PATROL CARS EAGER TO ENFORCE THOSE NEW LIMITS CRUISING THRU FOR PUBLIC INFO ONLY-(YIKES) FIND SHADE & REST ELSEWHERE FROM THOSE LONG DRIVES FROM PORTLAND & BEYOND!! Sad BUT TRUE!! STOP THIS INSANITY, PLEASE

Good place for a rest. And clean

Washington State rest stops are almost always kept nice. They have paper, warm water to wash and soap.

Very pretty stop on southbound I-5. Good access for disabled and plenty of restrooms. Big trees and lots of grass for your dog.

Bow Hill rest stop is extremely well kept!!🎉🤗🙌 The grass is amazing!! They have 2 buildings with restrooms, picnic tables, garbage cans, and a doggie area💩

This rest area is a perfect place to stop and recharge your energy. The restrooms are clean. There are also picnic tables on the grassy lawn with huge trees as shades. There is a pet area as well. And there are several parking spaces for cars, trucks and RV's. One more thing I like was the bulletin board which was full of informative items.

This place was clean and easy to park my truck. Restrooms are right up the stairs and there's plenty of room to walk the dogs. This is a nice rest area.
