Budget Host

I love the layout of the room and exterior doors. Awesome location! Place could use a little fixing up though.

We had a 5 day stay here. The rooms were older but the beds,pillows were very comfortable. The managers were extremely nice and when I had an issue, they were on it quick. Our room was quiet and cozy. It was convenient to be next to a restaurant and gas station.

Management was very helpful, nice and considerate. It is an older hotel. Could use some remodeling.

Well,it’s ok for what it is- Nice people,they aren’t exactly getting rich with the little hotel but they are trying to run it as best they can. If it’s cold out, you should ask them for a space heater or something. The room was cold but the water was HOT, clean and had excellent pressure. It was VERY quiet- especially being so close to the highway. For you drivers, there is big truck parking alongside the hotel but (for everyone else) it’s on the corner away from the rooms so you won’t hear them at all... if there even are any parked there. Linens and room were clean but the room did have a strong “stale cigarette smoke” smell so you should probably ask to see the room first if you are coming over from the Petro truck stop or straight in off of the highway. I’m giving them 4 stars because, as I’ve already mentioned, I do think that they are trying hard but they do have a lot of big chain hotel competition nearby and they aren’t in the greatest location. They usually have rooms so I don’t think you’ll need a reservation first. You can probably get a better deal in person than what is offered by Expedia,etc.- I think that they have a CDL discount for truck drivers. Call them for pricing and ask about whatever discounts you may be eligible for. So, “E 4 Effort” !

The room was pretty big and was a nice quiet place. Needs some updating but other than that its not to bad. Has a outdoor pool and had a microwave and small fridge in the room. Weird thing was there was no phone in the room?

Convenience Location with very friendly staff gave us comfort.

The owners are very nice. The housekeeper is helpful with shampoo & towels. Great price for Johnstown/ Loveland.

This is an older motel, but the manager is top notch... He and his wife are doing a better job than I could in their position... I've read the other reviews, and must say that folks staying here tend to mind their own business, and are very helpful... The maintenance guy not only fixed my stereo, but went above and beyond by helping to wire and mount my solar system... I will return just for the quality of work and the work ethics... I recommend asking for anything you need, because folks are going to to help with whatever you need..
