Red Roof Inn Dry Ridge

Low rent rendezvous hotel! This place is dirty and dangerous! In 2021 my wife and I were passing through the area to see The Ark Encounter. We needed a place to stay. The room was dirty, the beds uncomfortable and there is NO elevator to get to the second floor. The hotel has zero amenities to offer. We had booked for two nights but under the circumstances we said the hell with that idea. We checked out after we got back from the Ark Encounter. When we were leaving a youth group was just checking in. Their leader wasn’t happy with what he saw. Furthermore the room could only be secured via a chain lock on the door This place doesn’t deserve a star it deserves negative stars.

Very clean and lots of room. About 5-10 minutes away from The Ark Encounter would stay again!

Clean! Room had random damage like the bathroom door had a chew spot and wall had a punch mark. The floor was not carpet which helped it feel clean. Love red roof inns because they don't charge extra for pets

Had to call clerk on the phone to check in. Guys hanging out everywhere. Room above us very noisy both nights. Floor tiles were not glued down,they were just laying on the floor. I am handicapped and tripped twice. Room was very small. Air condition not working correctly. Kept going off and on. Had to pay 2 different prices for each of the 2 nights. Hated it

Low level economy budget hotel. We rented two rooms. We were greeted at the desk with a sign to call for check-in. The number rang to the front desk literally three feet from where we were standing. The employee came from the back room (sleeping?) No elevator to help us lug all our stuff upstairs. Really? This place is stuck in time. Room 205 stunk like it had not truly been cleaned in a while. The hard floor was dirty enough to turn the bottom of our feet black. Adjoining room 207 stunk like cigarettes. Each bathroom had one set of towels for one person. There are six of us. We were told there would be a microwave in the room. That was a lie. We were told there would be a coffee maker in the room. When asked, they said not THOSE rooms. Right. Lie. In the morning the employees can be found smoking right beside the main entrance. Classy. Never. Coming. Back. Update: We left something in our room. Several calls and weeks later, we still have not received it. Terrible customer service.

I am not unhappy with my over all experience at Red Roof Inn Dry Ridge, but there was a couple of issues. The most concerning was the spotting of one baby bed bug. If there's one typically there's more. The other issue was the plumbing was backed up. The tub slightly filled while taking a shower and was very slow to drain. Also the toilet would not flush properly. These are the only complaints that I have.

Needed a cheaper place to zonk out for a night. Very plain rooms. But to me that's all a traveler really needs. Have not watched TV yet but it looks like a decent channel list. The room and bathroom are clean.

This place is OK for the amount of $ you are paying. We stayed only one night and when we walked in, the room has no carpet, which I prefer, but it wasnt swept at all. There were still crumbs and dirt on the floor. So I recommend sweeping the room as well, so that your new guests have a clean floor. Also, the place looks like it was a quick fixer upper from an old hotel before, you can tell by the messy and sloppy paint job in the room, the tiles in the bathroom were falling apart and you can see the sloppy caulking job around the sink. Like I said, its OK for like one night but longer than that.....yikes.

A reasonably clean, affordable hotel convenient to the Ark Encounter. The building is showing its age, needing some maintenance & updates. There is no elevator but it’s only 2 stories.

We were booked in & registered quickly. The front desk was awesome. Service with a smile all the way to the end. Management did a wonderful job. Only problem: An hour before check-out time, housekeeping did not knock on our door before they'd used their own key to enter our room to clean & change the bedding. We were startled & caught off guard. Our group decided to spend one more night before we'd driven back to Illinois. That night we had placed the chain on our door. 1 & 1/2 hours before check-out we had been awakened by a loud noise "bam!" It was housekeeping again trying to enter our room before check out time, but she couldn't enter this time due to the chain. My daughter and I jumped up, hearts racing, scared to death & looking around the room. She slowly opened the door to see what was going on and there they were (housekeeping) open & closing doors as they walked down the hallway with a cleaning cart. Everything else was wonderful except almost having a heart attack.
