HEY FEDEX CORPORATE OFFICE IN PITTSBURGH! If you're reading this, please send help to the McCook terminal. And when you do, please let it be a surprise because Jose and Steve like to coach the managers on what to say and what not to say. The district told them to stop running extra packages through the sort, but they choose to do it anyway as if no one is going to notice. And on top of all that, they choose to send 1/3 of the crew home leaving only a skeleton crew to unload all the packages, which makes dispatch time late. And on other days there's a full crew with light work, and they still can't get done on time. Can someone explain why it takes until 9:00 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. to unload 20k packages? And can someone also explain why the trailers from Indiana are always late on Fridays? And can someone further explain what is the purpose of CPC? Other than annoying the drivers and making their day worse. All they do is lie to the drivers and the customers. A customer could cancel a delivery and CPC will send the driver anyway. When you do send help, help the Bedford Park hub as well and have a chat with Derek at CPC.

Fedex has caused me more stress and grief in my life than I thought could be possible from a shipping company. 3 day late wedding flowers. They don't attempt delivery, but say they do, so we have to come pick it up. Just honestly, the worst of the worst for shipping, it's uncanny.

Hello to all, hope review helps, came on board as a contracted 1099 driver with shamrock, will say all my reviews are accurate, with that being said equipment was good. Assigned my own truck as a local driver,no slip seat. pay was on time always. Those are the pros. But pay is not 25% as promised. Much lower, I know how to book loads off a load board and how to deduct fuel cost at 6 miles to the gallon for Diesel fuel, then calculate 25% after the cost. Shamrock will give you a pay of $140 when you should be at $400 to 500 for the load. They basically give you what they want. They also will expect you to help move trailers into docks, and retrieve trailers with no compensation. Also dispatch is booking loads off the board, then will try to force you another load knowing it’s more than likely you will run over your duty time.I have expressed this but was ment with anger from the office due to refusals in taking second loads.Cant say if owner is aware of this but know if you get contracted as a local driver, expect to get paid much lower than the 25% and dispatch will try there best to schedule you 2 loads a day, when they are not caring if you go over your 14 hours of duty time. Also they want you to work for free, meaning if you have completed a load, they expect you to go get a load to bring back to hold for the start of the next day, clearly that’s working for free.well I’ve been around, not as stupid as I pretend to be,lol, just know what to expect with this company. But you will have your own truck. Well can’t say I will see you there. They stop giving me loads because i refuse to take a second loads which would take me over my 14 hours of duty time. But thats fine. Always remember drivers your CDL is on the line not dispatch. If you take a second load and go past that 14 hour duty time YOU WILL PAY THE PRICE.WHEN YOU GET STOPPED BY THE LAW.Also the hiring manager , Vince ,will try to get you to use personal convenience to deliver loads if you run out of time which you cannot do, but he will argue and yell and tell you it’s OK if you are unloaded, which is AGAINST DOT LAW,Again it’s not the best nor the worst,,just know what to expect.Good luck to all.
