This is a nice hotel it was remodeled and is very clean. It's not priced very well as the rooms aren't worth 100 a night. I mean really to be honest 80$ area is more like it.

This hotel was terribly maintained and was filthy! The shower tub would not drain. So gross! The air conditioner was off when we checked in and the room was so steamy hot that we had to leave for awhile to give it time to cool off. The pool was not available for use and there was no breakfast available. I would not stay here.

Couldn't find a hotel for hours due to the race but we managed to get the last room they had available. Room was dirty. Hair everywhere, dirty sink, and one of the beds was dirty. Lady at the front was nice and offered to cancel due to not having any other rooms but it was 2 am and we were exhausted. She came in and cleaned the shower and gave us clean linens. No breakfast and pool wasn't running as avertised. Floors are gross in the halls but I think they are renovating so maybe those will be updated soon. Surrounding area seems nice. A few good restaurants and stores. Not worth the price for our stay in my opinion.

This hotel looks nothing like what they advertise! Upon arrival after our 2 hour drive we were told there was no breakfast or pool! We went up to our room on the way up the elevator and hall was absolutely disgusting! When we entered our room it looked nothing like what was advertised! It was extremely small and just as disgusting as the hall, the sheets were stained and the bathroom was absolutely nasty! We immediately checked out! This was the worst experience we have ever had at a hotel! We travel a lot due to both of our children being in travel ball! I will never book at this location again! It would take some serious convincing to even get me to book with a Howard Johnson anywhere after this experience!

Here is my honest review. My husband, baby and I were passing through Tennessee and needed an affordable place to stay the night. I booked about 2 hours before our arrival time, which was about 11:30pm. Upon arrival the front desk agent was nice, and not once had an attitude, which is pleasant to see since I was so exhausted. So the guest service experience was quick and great! We got to our room (King bed) and it was clean, but like any other hotel there were scuffs and such, but I mean it’s a hotel. I expected the bed to be super soft, but when I plopped on top I was surprised at how firm it was, it was exactly what my sore body had needed! I did get some pretty good sleep. The cleanliness was good. THEY ARE RENOVATING. However, that did not bother me since I was only staying for a night. You can hear the construction workers off of i-40, but honestly, I fell right asleep. I was more grateful at the fact I found a place that was affordable to rest our heads, so I wasn’t complaining. There is no breakfast, again, they are renovating but there are nearby restaurants. It was pricy for one night $106, but since it was last minute and prices have gone up on everything, it wasn’t bad for what it was worth. Overall, I was happy with our stay.

We found 2 bed bugs on our pillow. We then picked them up with a tissue and took it to the front desk. The front desk woman tried to blame it on our dog saying it was fleas As well as say they have never had any complaints. Ok (even thought I know the difference)I then looked into the reviews and found that on several occasions people had found bed bugs. we came back into the room and at this point I’m paranoid. I start checking everywhere and that’s when I lifted up the bed skirt and found what seemed to be 30 all around the sides of the mattress. My fiancé went to bed because he had work the next day and I proceeded to sit in the desk chair provided, all night because I did not want to lay in that bed. Needless to say as well as I think it’s safe to say I do not recommend this place nor will I ever be back. I am now going to be terrified of bedbugs getting into our house. I hope to God for our sake and for Howard Johnson’s sake that we do not get bed bugs. This was so disappointing and the front desk was very rude. DO NOT STAY HERE

I would rate a zero if possible!!Horrible...looks like remodeling on outside and NONE on inside..outdated! Bathroom sink didn't work...no drain...hairs all in floor. Smelled damp and musty. Needs a good cleaning.. floors not moped or vaccuumed! Fridge did NOT work. Would not recommend staying at this location. Glad I was only there for a few hours to continue driving.

I do not like giving a bad review esp when I at least slept good, esp when the staff were kind & friendly, however, this place could use some work. For the price the rooms are small with no closet (space) to speak of The sink faucet leaks drip drip drip all night. It didn't keep me awake though because the commode "runs" all night. Jiggled the handle but still it ran from the time we checked in until the time we left....it's still running today I'm sure of it! One last thing, for the price they could stand to make changes to their complimentary breakfast & more importantly, clean in that area!

Needed pet friendly and it was. Good price. Room clean but outdated, nice owner acknowledged and said he was continuing to update. Sheets could be newer. Still clean which is key. Outside and grounds were well kept. Entrance pleasant. Breakfast basic hotel, probably could use a bit more. Coffee was great!! I would stay again.

Love this place V and her husband manage this place. They are great people and the staff is superb. The staff will always be more than happy to help you. Everyone here is great. My wife and myself stayed here several times while we were searching for our retirement home. Thanks again
