Love the company, love the trucks, great equipment, was gonna quit but things got fixed. More miles great home time. Great pet policy, passenger policy, great pay, CAN'T stand the dirty trucks. We are not allowed to use blue beacon anymore have to use the yards truck wash but the trucks aren't getting clean not happy go in with bugs dead on windshield and come out with same dead bugs on windshield. Trucks aren't getting clean. They look terrible. I don't get to the yards to get truck washed. So I'm going on 2 months no wash. It's gross

Great company to work for. The people do everything possible to ensure the drivers are taken care of. I have been working for Smith Transport out of Roaring Spring PA going on five years. It's a top company in my book. If you can't work for Smith you may have difficulty working for any other trucking company.

This company has been on the downfall for awhile now. The checks are not consistent. Trucks breaking down, never get home on time, always getting the run around. From my understanding they have been bought by another company so maybe that is the reason for all these problems. But things need to change and fast or they will continue to lose good drivers who are willing to work and run the loads.

The garage here is a joke Went in to fill out a report and the pen they had was out of ink Asked if they had a pen we could borrow and they went no and blew up off like we were bothering them. I can tell you right now they had pens sitting out, but they didn't want to give one cause people apparently keep taking their pens that they did have sat out. So how exactly do expect people to come into the shop to fill out a report for their Truck to get fixed in the shop if they won't even give you a pen to fill it out. Before that we had our truck here to get fixed which should've been a simple fix and they told us it would take 2 hours cause of other trucks and it literally took 3 days to actually get the truck back and then we had another issue with the truck We kept getting told they were working on it and it'd be done soon Then another worker came in and told us it'll be a few mins and again it was more like a couple days. We walk in and see workers sitting at the desk, playing on their phone, standing around talking and in the shop I've seen guys just standing around, laughing, joking around, on their phones and just pacing back and forth

This is one of the companies that laws should be made for. They lie to you about what you will make and expect more than they give. You’re way better of getting a job at home locally than working for these liars. I’ve worked for 3 companies since I’ve been driving and these guys are the worse. They short you on miles on purpose here. Pay absolutely sucks.

Years of driving here has been very good. They are very family oriented and they care about the Drivers. Going on 20 years and I am truly thankful that I am part of this family. They pay for detention and break downs and other things. I recommend this company because they treat me and my family very good. God bless and hope you find the blessing Company like I have.

As a driver be prepared to deal with after hours staff who don't care what your DM said qnd respond to your requests with copious attitude, forget asking for anything and to be treated like a number. Pray for a nice truck because that's all you'll ever live in while you work here.

An excellent place to work,I worked there in 2014 until I had a stroke. I got great miles and home time. Treated me with respect and honesty, even after the fact. I still get Christmas cards from them. I would definitely go back if I was able. Thank You Smith Transport for being what a trucking company should be..
